Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 2D, L.L.C. (doing business as 2D Solution, "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you visit 2dsolution.com (the "Site") or contact us about our services. We are a Colorado limited liability company headquartered in Denver, Colorado, United States.

We've tried to write this in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@2dsolution.com and we'll explain.

1. Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information:

1.1 Information you give us

When you fill out the contact form on the Site, you provide:

  • Your name
  • Your work email address
  • Your company name
  • The message you write describing your project, problem, or question

If you email us directly at hello@2dsolution.com or correspond with us by other channels, we also receive whatever you choose to send, including your email address and message content.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) and our form-submission endpoint receive standard server log data when you visit or submit the form, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Date, time, and URL of the request
  • Referring page

We use this only for security, abuse prevention, and basic operational diagnostics.

1.3 Cookies and tracking

The Site does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, cross-site trackers, fingerprinting, or session replay. We do not set any non-essential cookies. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.

2. How we use information

We use the information you submit only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Evaluate whether our services are a good fit for what you're trying to do
  • Schedule and conduct a discovery call, if you'd like one
  • Send follow-up correspondence related to your inquiry
  • Keep records of communications for our business operations
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use it to train AI models, build advertising audiences, or share it with marketing partners. We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list without your express opt-in.

3. Legal bases (for EEA / UK visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information under one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Consent — when you voluntarily submit the contact form
  • Legitimate interests — operating a secure, functional website and responding to business inquiries
  • Pre-contractual steps — evaluating a potential engagement at your request
  • Legal obligation — compliance with applicable law

4. Service providers and sub-processors

We use a small set of vendors to operate the Site and respond to inquiries. They process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments:

  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting and serverless function execution (request logs, form submission endpoint).
  • Google LLC (Google Workspace / Gmail API) — delivery and storage of inquiries sent through the contact form, and our business email at 2dsolution.com.
  • Domain registrar and DNS provider — operates the domain.

Each of these providers may process your information in the United States. We do not authorize any of them to use your information for their own marketing.

5. How long we keep your information

We retain contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry, plus a reasonable period afterward for business records, dispute resolution, and legal compliance — typically up to three (3) years from our last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required by law or a shorter period is requested by you.

Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention windows (generally 30 days or less for raw logs).

6. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. The Site is served over HTTPS, our form endpoint enforces basic abuse protections, and access to inquiries is limited to people who need it to respond.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please do not send sensitive personal data (e.g., government IDs, financial account numbers, health information) through the contact form. If you need to share something sensitive, email us first and we'll set up a secure channel.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion — ask us to delete information we hold about you
  • Portability — request a machine-readable copy of information you provided
  • Objection / restriction — object to, or ask us to limit, certain processing
  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time
  • Opt out of "sales" or "sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California or other U.S. state privacy laws, but you may still submit a request to confirm
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@2dsolution.com. We may need to verify your identity before we can act on a request, and we may decline requests where an exemption applies under law.

California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on their behalf. EEA / UK residents have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

8. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

We operate the Site from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the U.S. by us and our service providers.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites we don't operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend reviewing their privacy policies before submitting information.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to respond, we treat all visitors the same — we don't use cross-site tracking regardless of the signal.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced more prominently on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
